Hashim Amla just turned 40 this year, South Africa’s first triple centurion in Tests. He scored a triple century (311*) against England in The Oval Test in 2012.

South Africa won by an inning. He is the first cricketer of Indian origin to play for Nelson Mandela’s country. This former right-handed batsman who scored 9,282 runs in 124 Tests turned 40. In addition to 181 ODIs (8,113 runs), he played 44 T20s (1,277 runs).
