Bowling coach Morne Morkel has resigned from his role with the Pakistan men’s cricket team, making him the first to leave the coaching staff after the team’s exit from the World Cup in India. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the appointment of former South African fast bowler Morne Morkel as the bowling coach for the national team. Morkel will be joining the coaching staff in preparation for the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka scheduled for next month.
