Shakib didn’t allow Gurbaz to make a storm

The first phase of the eighth season of the T20 World Cup is taking place in Australia. Bangladesh is not among the eight teams to qualify for the tournament. Tigers will play directly in the main phase. Bangladesh’s World Cup journey will begin on October 24 with a match against the runner-up of the ‘A’ group.
But before that, Bangladesh will play two preparatory matches against Afghanistan and South Africa. One of which is being held today.
Bangladesh got the fielding after losing the toss at Brisbane’s Allan Border Field.

Mohammad Nabi’s team managed to score only 67 runs in the first 10 overs. The Afghans lost their first wicket after 19 runs. Hazratullah Zazai (15 off 16) was caught by Mosaddek Hossain by Taskin Ahmed. Rahmatullah Gurbaz wanted to create a storm. Shakib took his wicket for 26 runs off 18 balls, and Afif took the catch. Afghanistan lost 2 wickets for 61 runs in the ninth over.
