The ODI World Cup is going to be held in India in October this year. But before that, there are many ‘conflicts’ going on between India and Pakistan. India does not want to play in Asia Cup in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan also said that they will not go to play in the ODI World Cup held in India. Pakistan claims that they will play the World Cup matches at neutral venues. However, this time Pakistan has agreed to go to India and play in the World Cup. Conditions have been given for it. The Indian news agency PTI said that if there is no new venue, they will have to organize the matches at the specified venue. And the two venues proposed by Pakistan are Kolkata and Chennai. This is what Cricket Pakistan reported in their report citing PTI.

Quoting an ICC official, the report said, “The whole matter of Pakistan coming to India depends on the BCCI and the Indian government.” Pakistan plans to play all its World Cup matches in Kolkata and Chennai. Earlier they played extra matches in these two cities. So they think their game is very safe there. These two cities are Pakistan’s first choice. But everything depends on BCCI and ICC. Because setting a specific venue for a specific team is out of the rules. Meanwhile, PCB chief Najam Shetty also said that the people of his country do not want Pakistan to go to India and play in the World Cup.
