Former New Zealand cricketer and current England coach Brendon McCullum was seen taking part in the advertisement of the betting company. An advertisement for a betting company called 22bet was published on YouTube. However, in the face of the netizens, YouTube removed the ad. Online betting is illegal under New Zealand law.

However, former New Zealand cricketer and head coach of the England Test team McCullum wants to be registered with a betting company called 22bet. Netizens reacted badly to see McCullum, one of New Zealand’s best cricketers, in such an ad. According to New Zealand media staff, many people took to McCallum’s Facebook page to express their anger after the ad aired. New Zealand media OneNews said that Google has removed the video because of various bad comments about the former captain of the Kiwis. The ad shows McCullum driving a sports car in the desert. At one stage he referred to himself as ’22bet’s brand ambassador’. However, McCallum did not respond to the bad comments of netizens.
