KPL - Karnataka Premier League is an Indian Twenty20 cricket league established by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in August 2009. The domestic cricket competition is modelled along the lines of the popular Indian Premier League (IPL). KPL, sponsored by Karbonn Smart, is a tribute to the late president of KSCA Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar, thus the league is officially known as the Karbonn Smart Karnataka Premier League.

KPL Winners List

Season 1 Winner – Bangalore Provident The Karnataka Premier League season 1 final was played between Bangalore Provident and the Belagavi Panthers at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Bangalore Provident defeated the Belagavi Panthers by five wickets. The  Player of the tournament was J. Arunkumar from Belagavi Panthers.

Season 2 Winner �Mangalore United The KPL T20 season 3 final was held between in Mangalore United and Bangalore Brigadiers in Mysuru where Mangalore United beat the Bangalore by 44 runs to lift the trophy.

Season 3 Winner �Mysore Warriors The third season of KPL T20 final was played at the D.R. Bendre Cricket Stadium, Hubballi in 2014 between Mysore Warriors vs Belgavi Panthers. Mysore won the final against Belgavi by 6 wickets to become season 3 champion.

Season 4 Winner �Bijapur Bulls The final of KPL T20 2015 was held between Bijapur Bulls and Hubli Tigers at the Gangothri Glades Cricket Ground, Mysuru. Bijapur Bulls beat the Hubli Tigers to become the season 4 champions.

Season 5 Winner �Bellary Tuskers The KPL T20 2016 final was played between Bellary Tuskers vs Hubli Tigers at the D.R. Bendre Cricket Stadium, Hubballi. Bellary Tuskers won the final match by 35 runs against Hubli Tigers to become champions of season 5.
