England team is on their way to a record win against India

That’s what England replaced by Ben Stokes with fluent batting. One of the best bowling line-ups in the world collapsed and scored 259 runs in 57 overs on the fourth day. The team is just 119 runs away from a record win.
And India’s batsmen did everything possible for this win. India has thrown a huge challenge of 378 runs to England. It is difficult to reach this target by batting in the fourth innings. But England’s top order almost made the difficult task easier. Batting in an ODI mood, they ended the fourth day’s play with the hope of winning.
Hosts England need 119 runs to win the fifth Test. And after 2007, India will have to take 7 wickets to win the Test series on English soil. India leads the series, which has been pending for almost a year, 2-1. The way the hosts started batting in an ODI mood to save the series, it looked like they would win on the fourth day.
India’s first innings in the Edgbaston Test ended at 416 runs. In reply, the English bowled out for 284. India scored 245 runs in the second innings. But even if they get good capital to win, it is becoming difficult for the Indian bowlers to keep it going. The two openers Alex Lees and Jack Crawley got off to a disastrous start in the run chase.
They added 107 runs to the opening pair. In the 22nd over, England broke the partnership. The hosts lost three top-order batters by two runs. India is back in the fight. Crawley was bowled by Jasprit Bumrah for 46 off 76 balls. A little later, unfortunately, his partner Liss was run out.
Liss was dismissed for 56 off 65 balls. Bumrah made Ollie Pope his second victim between the two openers. England suffered a tough blow with the bat of Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow. Root remained unbeaten on 76 off 112 balls at the end of the day. Bairstow is unbeaten on 72 off 87 balls. The duo’s 150-run stand almost knocked India out of the match.
If nothing dramatic happens on the fifth and final day on Tuesday, England will win the Edgbaston Test.
