5-ball hat-trick, the first in T20

The new member of the New Zealand team is spin-all-rounder Michael Bracewell. He has played only two Tests, six ODIs and two T20Is for the Kiwis so far.

And at the beginning of his career, this off-break bowler has set a precedent of hat-trick in T20 format even without doing a full over.
Bracewell scored a hat-trick in the second T20 against Ireland on Wednesday. The Kiwi captain gave the ball to Bracewell for the first time in the 14th over.

And with the ball in hand, he returned 3 Irish batters to the cage with 5 runs from 5 balls. Bracewell packed the opponent for 91 runs.
In 13.5 overs, Craig Young gave a catch to Ish Shodhi off Bracewell. He returned without opening the account of the run.

And with this, Bracewell became the third Kiwi bowler to score a hat-trick in T20. Earlier in 2009, Jacob Oram scored a hat-trick in T20 against Sri Lanka. In 2010, Tim Southee again scored a hat-trick against Pakistan. Bracewell scored a hat trick 12 years later.
Bracewell became the first in world cricket to achieve another feat. That is – Bracewell is now the first bowler to take 3 or more wickets in an innings of international cricket by bowling less than an over.
